Here are some of my favorite places to eat.
'Hacienda' on Freemont blvd has the best ambience of any restaurant in Rocky Point and good food with excellent service. You will not be disappointed.
The best place to watch a sunset and have a good meal with great Jazz music is the 'Lighthouse'. Located on top of Whale hill to the left as you head towards the Port and shopping area.
My wifes prefers La Maria at Las Palomas. She says the Filet Mignon is to die for.
Max's cafe is almost a tradition in Rocky Point located across from the Penasco Del Sol hotel. Great food always of high quality.
'The Bus Stop' Stop by and say hi to Alan on your way to Sandy Beach. He imported the Bus from Havasua that originally came from England but let him tell you the story. Great fast food of high quality and consistently delicious.
So far the only authentic restaurant that I just ABSOLUTELY love is "Regina's" in old port, excellent food, convinient location.
Citron and La Maria are on the top of my list also.
Rosy's rstaurant is my most favorite of all while living and working here in Rocky Point for many years. They have real authentic Mexican food and the best breakfast in town. The prices are not for the tourists but for the locals. It is always super clean and you will not be dissappointed ever. Go 8 blocks West of the baseball stadium at the light and you will be there. Prices are great and the Chiles Rellenos are famous and to die for.
SEAFOOD: Blue Marlin in Old Port for sure! Very good and inexpensive. Their seafood slept in the ocean last night! That's how fresh it is. BURGERS: BooBar in Old Port. BREAKFAST: Pink Cadillac believe it or not, really really good! HOME COOKIN': The Desert Oasis, I've eaten there several times, it's good, consistent, and a fun atmosphere. For steak dinner, their filet can't be beat. TACOS: Tacos Poblano, next to the baseball stadium just north of town, or any street tacos eaten after 3a.m. mmmmm good! PIZZA: Capone's, in the Mirador, hands down, the best in town!
